Healthcare and Social Media – Online Trends & Strategy

This past Wednesday I had the pleasure and honor of joining New York Times health blogger Tara Parker-Pope for a presentation to the Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society of Greater New York (HPRMS).

In particular, my presentation focused on explaining current online social media trends as they pertain to the healthcare industry. In addition, I provided insight and tips on starting a social media effort and focused heavily on the importance of defining a target audience, developing key objectives and solidifying a strategy prior to choosing which tools and platforms to utilize.

I’ve included the presentation below and special thanks to HPRMS for inviting me to present!

Happy Friday,

-Scott
