We’re one month deep into 2014. Client budgets are back in action and strategies are being finalized for the year ahead.
Following some much needed tech detox over the holidays, I finally had the chance to sink into some good reads with Joe Pulizzi’s Epic Content Marketing and Jay Baer’s Youtility. I’ve always enjoyed staying top of both author’s insights. Joe, for his amazing work with CMI, harnessing a community of bloggers that shed light on smart tactics and guidance around marketing tools and tactical execution. Jay, for his unique perspective on practical, no BS marketing. That’s exactly what you’re going to get with both of these books – fantastic guidance from two great marketing experts complemented with rich insights, examples and resources to help craft your next content marketing strategy.
One month into this year and I’ve already found myself referencing back on both books for quick reminders and to trigger new thoughts as I tackle crafting various marketing strategies. I highly recommend giving both books a good read, sharing with your team and even your clients to help you align on a vision.
