I’ve posted on various aspects of YouTube Insight in the past but a couple recent videos from Katie over at Before & After TV caught my attention. Launched about a year ago, YouTube Insight is one of the best free video analytics tools out there.

Check out the videos below for a quick, comprehensive overview of Insight as well as YouTube’s Audioswap tool. YouTube still has a lot of work to do with Audioswap as no decent videographer or producer would take this approach to incorporating music into a video. Alas, it’s a good foundation for amateur videographers looking for pre-approved licensed music.
